On arrival at Kushok Bakula airport Leh - 3500m above sea level you will be transfer to hotel and check in. Half day at rest for acclimatization. Evening drive to visit Shanti Stupa, a Buddhist white-domed Stupa on a hilltop in Changspa, It was built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu, Gyomyo Nakamura and part of the Peace Pagoda mission.
Day start with Hall of Fame, which was constructed by the Indian Army to commemorate the sacrifice of soldiers during Indo-Pak wars , Kali Mata Temple, followed by Spituk Gompa - an 11th century structure , Next on the list of attractions is the majestic Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. Nestled deep in the Himalayas, it was constructed by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to honour the visit of Guru Nanak Dev - the founder of the Sikh faith. Drive another few km to witness the magic of Magnetic Hill that defies the law of gravity. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road, it seems to slide up and further. Driving through a picturesque landscape, we reach the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar River. Proceed back to Hotel via same route. Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel in Leh
It is the highest land locked lake (155 Kms on way from Leh 05 Hrs driver each way. After an early breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5360 Mtrs. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding is under army surveillance. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable.
Drive back to Leh.
Dinner & Overnight Night at the Hotel in Leh
Drive to Nubra valley, driving over the highest motored pass in the world. The exciting journey through serpentine roads lead you to the Khardungla Pass at an awesome height of 5550 meters. We stop at the pass to admire and click some photographs of the fantastic view. Drive back to Leh and Post Thiksey is especially noteworthy for its gigantic seated statue of the Maitreya Buddha and is also known for its (Dukhang) assembly hall which houses hundreds of rectangular prayer books, stacked between wooden covers and bound in silk.
After that we continue to drive through series of chortens to visit Shey Palace the former summer palace of the King of Ladakh and Rancho School (if opened) Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel
After an early breakfast you will be transfer to airport to board the flight towards your further journey.
