After breakfast full day local visit Shey, Thiksey and Hemis monasteries, afternoon walk till the Shanti Stupa, overnight at hotel.

Thiksey Gompa: 18 km from Leh the most beautiful of all monasteries in Ladakh, belongs to the Gelukpa order. The Gonpa was first build at Stakmo by Sherab zangpo of Stod. Later the nephew of Sherab zangpo, spon Paldan Sherab, founded the Thiksey Gonpa on a hill top to north of Indus River in 1430 AD. There are sacred shrines and many presious to be seen there.

Hemis: 47 kms from Leh on the west bank of the Indus, the monastery belongs to Dugpa order, build on a green hillside surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery, is hidden in a gorge. It is the biggest and wealthies monastery in Ladakh and is a must for visitors. Sacred musk dance are performed on 9th and 10th day of theTibetan 5th month. During the Hemis Tsechu held in the year of the Monkey it is possible to see Appliqua- work tapestry wrought with preals the depicts the precious teacher Padmasambhava.

Shey Palace: The old summer Palace of the king of Ladakh, Shey (15km, from Lek towards Hemis), was build more than 550 years ago by Lhachen Palgyigon, the King of Ladakh. Overnight at Hotel.

Morning after breakfast drive to Chilling, before take the right trun from the confluence Indus AE Zanskar River, visit Alchi gompa, although there are a great many temples, caves and stupas build in Ladkh by Rinchen zangpo, Translator, Alchi Choskoris the large and most famous of all of them. Alchi is situated at a distance of 67 kms west of Leh, founded by Rinchen zangpo, Translator, in 1000 AD. The sacred temples, to be seen there include the principal one of the Rinchen Lhakhang, at Lotsa nLhakhangf, the Jamyang Lhakhang (Manjusri temple) and the sumtsag Lhakhang. The main image is that of vairocana but there can also been seen the fine Buddha Families together with their attendant deities. The paintingsare not like the Tibetan style but rather they are executive according to the Indian tradition. Continue drive back till the confluence (Indus-Zanskar river) follow the Zanskar river up to the village Chilling, set the camp for overnight.

Morning commence ascending trekking towards the pss. On arrival set the tent for overnight.

After an early breakfast start our trekking tour to Sumdah Chenmo, first part is little bit tough, the second part is descending till the camping side.

Morning after breakfast commence trek to Hanupatta via Hinju village, overnight at camp.

Very early morning commence the trek to BC of Sniguitsela, overnight at camp.

After breakfast take our vehicle drive to Kargil, overnight at hotel.

After breakfast commence further drive to Basgo, en route visit Lamayuru monastery. On arrival at Basgo check in local house, enjoy the local food, flok dance, song and wine AeChhangAe, overnight at local house.

Drive to Leh en route visit Phyang and Spituk gompa, upon arrival check in hotel.

Full day’s leisure for individual’s activities, overnight at hotel.

Morning takes flight to Delhi upon arrival transfer to hotel. Rest of the time free, after dinner transfer to international airport take onward flight.
